How is it the middle of January already?
So, I made a new year’s resolution to blog more…. even if there are not as many projects, I would still like to share my journey and the various inspirations throughout my journey! 🙂
…. well, 18 days into the year and I’m blogging my first post…. 🙂 But, while working a full time job, getting Our Craft Lounge ready for CHA, and helping my family get Inspiration Emporium off and running, I still found some time to have some fun! 🙂
I have had the opportunity to enjoy some time with 2 of the ladies that are on the Inspriation Team. Chelle is a designer for Our Craft Lounge as well. Sherry Goodloe is a kind heart that I met at the Carson stamp convention and it was an immediate connection. We have gotten together a few times and its always fun to chat the night away with ladies that love the crafting industry as much as I do. These ladies are good for the soul! 🙂Â

 Another fun event was just a couple of weeks ago when my dear friend celebrated his 40th birthday at Disneyland! It was great to have friends come from Northern California, Arizona, Texas, Ohio and Canada come to celebrate!

It was sad to see them head home, but I was lucky enough to be able to see tim, mj, and michele again just a few days later. Last Thursday, I headed to Arizona to help tim holtz prep for his CHA classes and other classes that he will be holding overseas. Although it is a lot of work, it is always fun work. And they take such excellent care of me while I’m there….
They don’t give you the small chocolates during “turn down”… they go KING SIZE with my favorite treats and they treat me with the best soap.Â
And before we go to bed, I get yummy yummy Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate…. (seriously delicous)
And who wouldn’t be inspired by this view?

But for 4 days, it was cutting, scoring, inking, and just enjoying….. (thanks again mj for the pix via twitter)

Well, CHA is next week and I can’t wait to see some of the new releases, but most of all, can’t wait to see some friends and to be inspired.

Hi Joy..I didn’t know you had a blog! I first met you at the Carson Stamp show then on Tim’s last cruise then saw you last again in Carson…you are such a sweetie! I’ll be back to visit you here & will probably run into you at CHA next week.
