Woohoo! I can’t wait for the release tomorrow. Here is another Sneak Peek.

Here is another amazing set by Marianne Walker. I have always liked this style, but had difficulty creating with it. But, after going to Ranger U, I am always looking for some great sketch, vintagy looking sets. This whole set is so much fun! :) Pair it with some Cuttlebug Folders (there are still a bunch on sale) and you can see the fireworks go off!

Ready for another peek of what’s to come from OCL? :) This is one from Marianne Walker.

Living in Southern California, we are fortunate enough to have some pretty great weather during the summers! :) We love to BBQ. This is a perfect set to invite friends for our little get togethers. My favorite part of this set is the border of condiments. And this set is so fun to color! Marianne was also kind enough to give us hints as to where to shade with this set! :) No guess work here.

So, after gushing about Debbie yesterday and saying how cute her sets are, I thought I would share a Sneak Peek of one of her new sets that will be released this Friday. This is her set called “Bookworm”. The entire set is just so adorable.
If you look REALLY close, there is some Sparkly Fluff on the worm’s body and hat. I just loooooooooooove sparkly fluff! I use it on almost everything now! :) The worm also have Glossy Accents on its eyes. And don’t you just love this paper from MME? I just love the texture to it.

Have you ever met someone for the first time and just fell in love with them as a friend? That’s how I feel about Debbie Corbari. I was able to meet her at CHA and she was just so much fun!!!!! I mean look at this pic….. this just says it all……

Isn’t she just the cutest thing?
She totally cracks me up!
Well, I am so happy to say that she is the new illustrator for Our Craft Lounge. She does amazingly adorable work and I’m excited to be able to play with her new sets…. Yes, I guess that means I will have to take the time to stamps. LOL! But, her stamps are worth it!
Debbie is my good friend Bethie’s BFF. Bethie brought her to CHA this past January to SoCal. She joined us for our eP reception where Cami, Kimberly, and I just fell in love with her. She was hilarious and her energy can light the room up. After the reception (as we closed down Tortilla Jo’s), stood in the parking lot for another hour just talking and laughing. What a blast! Here is a really dark picture I took of Debbie and Bethie.

Be sure to check out her new sets (and other OCL sets) that will be releasing on Friday. There are some sneak peaks and the following blogs:

When I first saw Flower Soft, I was in love. My friend Cami showed me a video and I had to try it. When Daisy saw it at CHA and told me that we should have it at eP, I was so excited!!!!
When I was getting ready for Stamp Club this past Monday, I knew I wanted to use the Flower Soft, but I didn’t know what stamp set to use. It did not take me long because as soon as I saw Growing Gratitude (one of my favorite sets from Our Craft Lounge), I knew that this was the set to use. Throw in some My Mind’s Eye paper, and we were good to go! :) The thing I love about the MME paper is that it coordinates so well. The bottom of the paper (the green part) is just the backside of the striped paper. Just trim and flip!
To adhere the flower soft, I just used the Scotch Tacky Adhesive. Just apply the glue, sprinkle some flower soft, and tap off the excess.
The pretty ribbon is something I picked up from a Ribbon store when I was in New Jersey during Ranger U. Our dear friend Robin took us there. I can’t wait to go back! :) Not just for the ribbon, but to see Robin again, too.

I am soooooooooo in love with Sparkly Fluff!
I comes in this cute jar.
It is so easy to work with. I used the Quickie Glue Pen to apply the Cotton Candy Sparkly Fluff. I applied it to one wing at a time since the Quickie Glue pen dries rather quickly. But, look at that sparkle!

This is a project that we had made for Stamp night. My girls don’t normally like to cut, but they were willing to cut 2 bugs out for this effect.

We used some My Mind’s Eye Paper, Cindy Ribbon, and Basic Grey Buttons. We used Stampin’ Up’s Scallop Border Bunch for the scallop at the bottom. And we used Just Bugz from Our Craft Lounge for the stamp set. Oh! And how can I forget the Copic Markers!

After this project was done, we couldn’t stop touching the sparkly fluff on the wings!

I am still on a learning high! WOW! This past weekend was so awesome. I’m excited to start playing with my Ranger Products. A lot of the fun of this weekend was seeing old friends and making new ones. This was such an amazing class. It consisted of manufacturers, store owners, designers, altered artists, scrapbookers and cardmakers. Look at this amazing class. (thanks Suze for the photo)

It was great to see old friends. Here is our dear friend Cindy (StartLitStudio).

It was great to make new friends. Here is a fun fun gal…. Lynn.

The instructors were AMAZING! Here is the adorable Claudine Hellmuth who taught us how to paint. (you should have seen my hands after her class)

Suze Weinberg was hilarious and oh so talented. We got to make melt art.

And the amazing tim holtz who had me crackin’ up with is quick wit!

The people “behind the scenes” were amazing!!!! Everything was so organized and seamless. Patti was right on top of anything tim needed during the class.

And Mario is just always so helpful. It was great to see him again. Just wish we had more time to chit chat with this sweet guy. (sorry again for the fuzzy pic. Blackberry pix are still a learning curve for me)

It was an experience of a lifetime. I can’t wait to play when I get home!

WOW! WOW! WOW! Today is day 3 of Ranger U and it has been fantastic. It has such an amazing exerience. I haven’t really taken many photos, but be sure to check out the eP blog for more details of the last couple of days!
Suze Weinberg has updated her blog with some fun pix, too! :) Check out Daisy in her Day 2 post.
I will have to say, this has brought me out of my comfort zone of “cutesy”….. and I am LOVIN’ it. My hands were so inky yesterday it was completely refreshing. Here is one of the projects that we created. (Sorry for the crappy photos, it was taken with my blackberry).

I’m ready to learn about Adirandack stuff today. Off to get ready for Ranger U day 3!
