Published by joyofstamping under Free Friday

Laurel (aka lklinge on SCS) Check out this gorgeous cape!  I love it!

and Regina Davis (aka ReginaBD on SCS)  I loooooove the bling on this

Ladies, if you could contact me so that I can get your address to mail your goodies, I would greatly appreciate it! :)

Thanks everyone for sharing their cards/projects with me.  I love to see what everyone does with these various products.  And it was nice to hear most people say “spread the love”.  It was fun to select two random winners vs just one.

Well, I better go start thinking about what will be free for this Friday! :)  (suggestions are welcome)

Free Friday #2 - Stickles

Published by joyofstamping under Free Friday

STICKLES! STICKLES! STICKLES! Who doesn’t love Stickles?

New Stickles

I was introduced to Stickles Glitter Glue early last year and when I had to decide what color(s) I wanted, anyone who knew me knew that I had to have………………. them all!!!!!! All of the colors are just so pretty! And since I had Glimmer Mist to give away last Friday, I thought I would stick with the “Bling” theme.

Now the question is……. do I give away one or TWO bottles? And if it is two bottles, do I give one lucky winner 2 bottles…. or select 2 people?

So, let me see some projects with Stickles used! :) Please post a link to your project(s) using stickles by Sunday midnight PST. (for those of you without Stickles yet, you can show me glitter.) I gotta see some bling! :)

Freckled Fun

Bethie Group

I was so excited when I heard that my dear friend Bethie was going to be in Orange County last Friday.  I was even more excited when she said that she had a few spare hours to spend with us! :)  (Go check out her blog.  She’s having a sale on watermarks!) And it was awesome to meet Bethie’s mom and sister.  They were both so super-duper sweet and funny!

I was also excited to see Valerie Stangle.  I glad she came up from San Diego to hang out with us.

Bethie had to run to a function by the beach, so we stopped at California Pizza Kitchen (CPK) to have some dinner.  I always enjoy the pizza and salads there!  Mmmmmmmmmmm.

What a fun dinner to spend it with 2 eP friends! :)

SoCal Fires

Published by joyofstamping under Life

It’s amazing how you could easily forget the simple pleasures of life.  It’s so easy for me to complain about having to clean the pool because there are so many leaves in the pool…… then realization hits!  People are loosing their homes.  People are scared for their LIVES.

If any of you have been keeping up with the footage of the fires, its very scary.  Foothill Ranch is home to eclectic Paperie.  I’m not worried about the product.  I’m worried about my friend/business partner, Daisy.  These are some pictures that Daisy took while picking her kids up from school.

Foothill Ranch Fire

Foothill Ranch Fire2

Scary, isn’t it?  She has more of an update on the eP Blog.

The fires were about 7 miles from my house. But, these fires were yards away from Daisy.

To my friends and family, don’t forget the little things that make you happy.  Take the time to cuddle your significant other/children.  Enjoy the simple pleasures in life.

To our eP customers…… shipping may be delayed due to these fires.  Please let us know if there is anything critical you need right away……  I know Daisy is concerned about getting these orders out.  But, my concern is that she and her family are safe and AWAY from the fires.

Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers.

Much Love….. Joy

Free Friday - Glimmer Mist

Published by joyofstamping under Free Friday

OK….. Who wants a free bottle of Glimmer Mist from Tattered Angels?

Gimmer Mist

We have sold lots of glimmer mist lately….. but I don’t see what people are doing with them. Give me a link to your project using glimmer mist and you will be entered into the drawing for a free bottle. Haven’t made a project yet? You have until midnight PST Sunday to create a project with it! :)

For those of you that don’t have glimmer mist yet, you really need to try it. I’ll even cut you a break this time if you don’t own any Glimmer Mist yet. You can upload projects that have some sort of shimmer/glitter to be entered into this drawing! :)

Come on everyone! I wanna see some shimmer! :)

SC146

Mom’s Butt

I haven’t played in a challenge in forever. It was fun to be able to play again! I’ve been able to stamp 3 times this week and it has felt so good. I always love Roxie’s challenges. This is Challenge SC146.

I couldn’t resist using My Friend Ronnie stamps. I was in the mood to color. I whipped out some “fun” My Mind’s Eye Paper and then I grabbed the Copic Markers to somewhat match the paper! :)

Thanks for peekin’! :)

Tiers of Treats

Published by joyofstamping under Projects

I got to meet and spend time with Tracy Nolta in Portland last weekend! :)  She celebrated her birthday yesterday.  I know I’m late, but I’m sure she won’t mind.  I’m putting a little package together and this is the card I made for her.

I thank Lisa Zappa for pointing Tiers of Treats out to us months ago.  I would have bypassed it.  But, I just love it and I love the sentiments with these Sweet Treats. And this Heidi Grace Paper goes perfect.  I love coloring with my Copic Markers.  And then I also colored in the tray section with the Sakura StardustPen.  This delicious ribbon is from StarlitStudio! :)

Portland - WOW!

Published by joyofstamping under Projects

Words cannot describe what an amazing weekend we had!  Just look at these beautiful women! (Thanks for this photo Cami!)  So many eP friends! Ü

Portland Babes

It’s amazing how 14 women can get together and just have a great time.  This was my first time meeting Jessica Newton, Lisa Mathis, and Leslie Miller.  I laughed so hard that my stomach was sore the next day.

Jessica and Lisa live in the area and they were AWESOME!  They picked people up from the airport, drove them around to the convention center, to/from Jess’s place.  What would we have done without them?  Driving is NOT easy in Portland.  The girls pitched in give them each an eP gift certificate.  Here is what we put the Gift Certificate in:

Jess and Lisa Pails

I used the Stampendous acrylic paint cans.  I used the LadyBug Topper and colored it in with my Copic Markers.  I then used my Quickie Glue pen to help me adhere my fun flock.  Have I told you how much I enjoy to flock?  And then I added a few Gems from My Mind’s Eye.  Here is a close up of the flocking.  I couldn’t stop touching the lady bugs.  LOL!

Close up of Pails

We threw a few more suprises in there like Glimmer Mist and Stickles.  This does not even come close to what these girls deserve for doing ALL that they did for us!

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

Here’s the Scoop

Published by joyofstamping under Projects

Scoop

I actually got to stamp again!  LOL!  Woohoo!  I have told myself that I would like to take more time to stamp more often.  So, there are things that I will have to “cut out” of my life…… or else maybe learn to stamp AND do other things at the same time.  We’ll see if this will actually work.

When we got the Memory Box Penguins in, I was so excited.  I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the Ice Cream Penguin.  He was just way too cute.  And the saying was just too perfect.  Then, when we got the Confetti Collection in from My Mind’s Eye, I immediately fell in love with this Birthday Girl Dots paper.  It just looked like yummy ice cream scoops.  My Mind’s Eye also had little Jewel Bling with their new line, so the little red cherry is one of the jewels from MME.  I also like the fact that they already have adhesive on the back.

And I was one of the people that hoarded Cool Caribbean cardstock when it retired.  It was my favorite color and I knew I couldn’t live without it, so I ordered a few packs.  Good thing I did cause this paper had a Cool Caribbean color.  The pierced holes were traced with Sakura Stardust, but you can’t tell from the photo.

Well, I had fun actually stamping.  I hope to stamp more this weekend…….
