I was so fortunately to have been able to spend time with Lana last weekend at our stamping retreat in Chippewa Falls, WI. We met through Splitcoast way back in 2004 and have stayed good friends ever since. Her coloring style always amazed me.

When I saw these images, I thought of Lana right away. Pixel and Pookie are just up her ally. I was excited to see what she came up with and she definitely did not disappoint me. I love how she mixes and matches her papers.

Look at the glitter on his hat. And she was kind enough to share which Copic Markers she used on all of these cards: R17
YG67, YR65, YR000,YG25, Y38.

Since I don’t get to stamp as often as I want to, I hope you don’t mind if I share other people’s work.
Happy Monday!

OMG! Words cannot express how much I enjoy the retreats that Pine puts together! Last year was my first retreat and after having so much fun, I told Kurt that this is a “must” for me every year.
Who knew that SplitCoast could bring all of us “internet friends” together and form the type of friendship to last a lifetime. These are they type of girls that someone can laugh with, cry with, share with, listen to, and everything that a sister could be to me.
Pine, thank you so much for an awesome retreat. You did an awesome job putting it together. Maria andHB, the food was AMAZING!!!!! Cindy and Kookie, your classes rocked! LZ (aka Zap-star), thank you for picking me up, dropping me off and letting me stay at “The Crack House” To my other shistahs (Lana, AngFab, Kendra, Donna, Cindy, Robin, QC, Navy, Kar, Hootie, MY, Nancy, Tex, Suze, Piris, Stevie, Otter), thank you for your love and friendship!

When I got I got my Copic Markers, I couldn’t wait to color something. I pulled out my Penny Black images and I hadn’t used the Pig in the Bikini. I knew that this one would be fun to color. And I was right. It was very fun. I used the paper from Chatterbox as my inspiration for color. I used eclipse tape to mask the pig and then used the Color Box inks and the Stampendous Geo Shapes to create the sun background and the ground.
The CindyRibbon was the perfect touch…. but this picture shows it a little darker than it really is. I then used the Sakura Gelly Roll pen to color the popsicle to make it look wet and shiney!
It was fun to be able to stamp again! LOL!
